1Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the 2canplay platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are operated by individuals under 18 years of age.
2Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. This includes any messages sent, profiles viewed, events attended, and any other interactions on the platform.
You agree to immediately notify 2canplay if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling all available security features.
3Acceptable Use
By using 2canplay, you agree not to misuse the platform or violate our community rules. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating fake profiles or impersonating another person
- Engaging in harassment, hate speech, bullying, or threatening behaviour
- Posting sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
- Using the platform for commercial solicitation, spam, scams, or fraud
- Attempting to circumvent security measures, including face verification
- Collecting or harvesting personal data of other users without consent
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform
4User Content
Any content you post on 2canplay — including photos, bio text, messages, and event listings — remains your intellectual property. However, by posting content on the platform, you grant 2canplay a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the platform.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and must ensure it complies with our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without prior notice.
5Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account that violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable laws. Actions that may result in account suspension or termination include:
- Repeated violations of community rules
- Verified reports of harassment or abuse from other users
- Use of fake photos or failure to pass face verification
- Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive activity
- Any behaviour that puts other users at risk
In cases of serious violations, accounts may be terminated immediately and without prior warning. Suspended or terminated users may not create new accounts.
6Premium Subscriptions and Payments
2canplay offers optional premium subscriptions that provide access to additional features. By purchasing a premium subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the app or your device's app store settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of the respective app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
7Offline Interactions
2canplay facilitates connections between users, but we are not responsible for the conduct of any user in offline settings. This includes meetups arranged through the app, events attended via the platform, and any other interactions that take place outside of the 2canplay application.
We strongly encourage all users to follow our Safety Tips when meeting someone in person for the first time. Your safety is your responsibility, and we provide guidance to help you make informed decisions.
8Limitation of Liability
2canplay is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to provide a safe and reliable platform, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of user-generated content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 2canplay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to damages resulting from offline meetings, loss of data, or reliance on any content posted by other users.
9Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email.
Your continued use of 2canplay after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about your rights and obligations.
10Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of 2canplay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.
