Our Commitment
2canplay, operated by Socialplay Labs Limited, is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
2canplay is a dating and social platform strictly for adults. Our Terms of Service require every user to be at least 18 years of age. Children are not permitted to create accounts or use 2canplay under any circumstances. These Child Safety Standards apply to everyone who accesses our mobile application and website.
Prohibited Conduct — Zero Tolerance
The following are strictly prohibited on 2canplay and will result in immediate removal, permanent account termination, and reporting to the relevant authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, videos, text, audio, drawings, or computer-generated content.
- Any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor.
- Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to engage a minor in sexual or inappropriate communication or activity.
- Sextortion, or the solicitation, sharing, or distribution of sexual content involving minors.
- Child trafficking, or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor.
- Any attempt by a minor to access the service, or by an adult to enable a minor to access the service.
Prevention & Age Assurance
We take proactive measures to keep minors off the platform and to prevent CSAE:
- Age requirement: Users must confirm they are 18 or older and provide a date of birth at sign-up.
- Identity & face verification: We use selfie-based face verification to help confirm that account holders are real adults and to detect attempts by minors to access the service.
- Content moderation: We combine automated detection and human review to identify and remove prohibited content, including suspected CSAM.
- Account termination: Any account found to belong to a minor is removed immediately.
How to Report a Concern
If you encounter content or behaviour that may involve the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, please report it to us immediately. You can:
- Use the in-app Report and Block tools available on every profile, chat, and piece of content.
- Email our dedicated child safety team at [email protected].
Every report is treated as a priority and reviewed promptly by our trust and safety team.
Our Response & Legal Reporting
When CSAE is identified or reported, we will:
- Remove the offending content and preserve relevant evidence as permitted by law.
- Permanently terminate the responsible account(s) and block re-registration.
- Report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate local law enforcement and regulatory authorities, including those in Nigeria.
