2canplay is a respectful, inclusive community. These guidelines exist to ensure every user has a positive and safe experience on our platform.

Our community guidelines are the foundation of everything we do at 2canplay. They reflect our commitment to building a platform where people can connect authentically, feel safe, and be treated with dignity. By using 2canplay, you agree to abide by these guidelines in all your interactions — in messages, on profiles, at events, and everywhere else on the platform.

We take enforcement seriously. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the platform, depending on the severity and frequency of the behaviour.

Treat Others with Respect

Every person on 2canplay deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. We expect all users to engage in courteous, good-faith interactions at all times.

  • Be polite and considerate in your messages and interactions
  • Accept rejection gracefully — not every match will lead to a connection
  • Appreciate cultural differences and approach conversations with an open mind
  • Remember that behind every profile is a real person with real feelings

Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Harassment, hate speech, bullying, and intimidation of any kind are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Sending threatening, abusive, or degrading messages
  • Targeting someone based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
  • Persistent unwanted contact after someone has indicated they are not interested
  • Doxxing, blackmail, or sharing someone's private information without consent

Keep Content Appropriate

2canplay is designed for meaningful connections, not explicit content. We maintain strict standards to keep the platform welcoming for all users.

  • Do not post or send sexually explicit photos, videos, or messages
  • Avoid sexually aggressive language or unsolicited sexual advances
  • Do not post violent, graphic, or disturbing content of any kind
  • Profile photos must be appropriate and clearly show your face

Be Real and Authentic

Authenticity is at the heart of 2canplay. We expect every user to represent themselves honestly and accurately on the platform.

  • Use real, recent photos that accurately represent your appearance
  • Provide truthful information in your bio and profile details
  • Do not impersonate another person or create multiple accounts
  • Complete face verification honestly — bypassing it is grounds for immediate removal

No Scams, Fraud, or Solicitation

2canplay is a dating and social platform — not a marketplace. Any attempt to deceive, scam, or exploit other users will result in immediate action.

  • Never ask other users for money, gifts, or financial assistance
  • Do not promote businesses, products, or services on the platform
  • Avoid sharing suspicious links or directing users to external sites
  • Report any user who asks for money or personal financial information

Respect Privacy and Boundaries

Everyone has a right to their personal space and privacy. We expect all users to honour the boundaries of others both on and off the platform.

  • Do not screenshot or share private conversations without consent
  • Respect when someone declines to share personal details
  • Do not stalk, follow, or contact someone outside the app without their explicit permission
  • If someone blocks you, do not attempt to contact them through other means

Enforcement

We take violations of our community guidelines seriously. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes action based on the severity and nature of the violation:

Warning

For first-time or minor violations, users may receive a formal warning explaining the infraction and expected behaviour going forward.

Temporary Suspension

For repeated or moderate violations, accounts may be temporarily suspended for a defined period. During this time, all platform features will be inaccessible.

Permanent Removal

For severe violations — including harassment, fraud, abuse, or any behaviour that puts others at risk — accounts will be permanently terminated without the possibility of reinstatement.
