Delete Your 2canplay Account

You can request deletion of your 2canplay account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains exactly how to do it, what gets deleted, and what we are legally required to keep.

2canplay is a product of Socialplay Labs Limited.

How to Request Deletion

Choose either option below. Both permanently delete your account.

From within the app

  1. Open the 2canplay app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile Settings.
  3. Tap Account Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the request. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.

By email request

  1. Email us at [email protected] with the subject “Delete My Account”.
  2. Send it from the email address on your account, and include the phone number you registered with, so we can verify it's you.
  3. We verify your identity and confirm the deletion within 30 days.

Data that is permanently deleted

  • Your profile: name, photos, bio, prompts and preferences
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Your location data used for nearby discovery
  • Your matches, likes and chat messages
  • Your in-app coin balance and activity history
  • Device identifiers and analytics associated with your account

Data we are required to keep

We retain a limited set of records only where the law requires it or to prevent fraud and abuse:

  • Transaction and purchase records, kept for up to 7 years as required by financial and tax regulations.
  • Records of safety reports or policy violations, kept to protect our community from repeat abuse.

These records are anonymised wherever possible and are not used to identify or contact you.

Deletion timeline

Once your request is confirmed, your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups are removed within 90 days.
